About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring that the Association's property portfolio is maintained to high standards, remains compliant with relevant regulations, and aligns with agreed investment and sustainability strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversight of planned maintenance and driving investment decisions for long-term asset management
* Progression of the Net Zero carbon strategy
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, building regulations, and environmental targets
* Optimisation of housing stock performance and lifespan
* Management of a small team including a Stock Condition Survey Officer and Assets Officer
Requirements
* Degree or professional qualification in Asset Management, Building Surveying, Property Management, or related field
* Experience in asset management, compliance, or property maintenance, ideally within social housing or public sector
* Understanding of compliance requirements in housing sector, including building safety regulations, gas safety, fire safety, and environmental practices
* Leadership skills with experience leading large-scale maintenance or investment projects
* Proficiency with asset management software, compliance tracking systems, and data analysis
