Occupational Therapist
About the Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with adults across a broad spectrum of needs, supporting individuals to maintain or regain independence and function in their daily lives.
You will deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions both in clinic and community settings.
Your key responsibilities include assessing and supporting adults with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges, developing and implementing individualised care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and carers.
You will also provide equipment prescription, home visits, and functional assessments as needed, liaise with GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, and other members of the Primary Care team, and maintain accurate records and contribute to service planning and development.
Requirements:
* A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Current registration with CORU
* Experience or interest in working with adults in a primary care/community setting
* Excellent communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills
