Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Grade Psychologist based at our Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT). The successful candidate will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young persons aged 0-18 years and their families.
Key Responsibilities
* Provision of psychology services to children and families attending services on the CDNT, including assessment and intervention, clinical supervision, and ongoing service delivery.
* Work across various settings, including clinics, schools, preschools, special schools, children's homes, and community settings.
The post holder will be responsible for working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide psychology services to children with a range of disabilities.
Requirements
1. University degree or diploma in Psychology with 1st or 2nd class honours, or equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health.
2. Irish postgraduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology, or equivalent qualification.
3. Demonstrate competence in the area applied for, with relevant experience working with children with disabilities.
4. Applicants must demonstrate that they have acquired at least 60 days or equivalent supervised clinical placements as part of their professional qualification, or at least 60 days or equivalent post-qualification supervised work experience as a psychologist.
