This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to strengthen relationships with existing clients and secure new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement Identify, connect with, and qualify prospective clients through calls, emails, networking, and events. Understand customer challenges and match them with tailored security solutions. Solution Selling Translate technical features into clear business benefits for both technical and non-technical audiences. Present compelling proposals that address customer needs and drive product adoption. Product Demonstrations Deliver impactful demonstrations and presentations to highlight solution capabilities and real-world applications. Sales Strategy & Reporting Collaborate with the wider sales team to shape strategies for specific customer segments. Track activities, forecasts, and results, reporting regularly to the Commercial Director. Technical Support Partner with engineering and support teams to ensure seamless solution design, delivery, and ongoing client satisfaction. Relationship Building Serve as a trusted advisor to both new and existing customers, building long-term, value-driven relationships. Market Research & Collaboration Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify opportunities. Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align solutions with customer requirements. Success Measures Consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets. Growth in new customer acquisition. Accurate and timely reporting of activities, leads, and results. Strong process discipline, including CRM and documentation management. Experience & Skills Required Technical background with the ability to simplify and communicate complex solutions. Proven success in technical sales, sales engineering, or a similar role in security, IT, or networking. Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable in a target-driven environment with competing priorities. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge of electronic security is advantageous (training provided).
