Performance Manager - Automotive Industry.
We are currently seeking an experienced, results driven, Automotive Performance Manager to join our growing team. This is a key leadership role for someone who understands how to balance people management with profitability, ensuring our workshop and office teams are running smoothly, efficiently and in line with business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with senior management in controlling the locations profitability, including cost control, labour efficiency and resource planning.
* Monitor and manage debit and credit control, invoicing, and financial performance.
* Drive performance through KPI's and continuous process improvement.
* Oversee the teams management in areas of Human Resources, including recruitment, performance reviews and staff development.
* Support and develop team members across workshop and admin functions.
* Foster a positive, high-performance culture with a focus on accountability, results and respect.
* Work well alongside an already established team.
* Report to senior management on business performance, staffing and any areas for development.
Your Background and Skills:
* A proven leader with experience managing people in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. (Automotive industry experience beneficial).
* Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of cost control, budgeting and credit/debit oversight.
* Confident with performance metrics and reporting tools.
* Excellent communicator, able to lead with clarity, confidence and respect.
* Knowledgeable in HR practices and comfortable handling team issues with professionalism.
* Hands-on and proactive, with the ability to lead by example and make decisions that benefit both the team and the business.
