Technical Support Analyst

The Technical Support Analyst position is with a fast growing company based in Dublin City Centre. This well established and stable company has grown consistently from 10 people to 130 people in the last 10 years. This Irish company is continuing to grow in Ireland and in several key international markets.

In this role, you will join a small IT team and liaise with an IT support vendor and key software vendors. This position will be a focal point of contact for desktop support issues, providing the highest level of IT support to resolve a variety of issues of different complexity levels in a timely manner. There will also be planned activities and projects to undertake.

This role requires a sound understanding of IT and related applications, as well as strong technical knowledge of each system within the company. It also involves collaborating with other stakeholders, being detail-oriented, and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

There is an opportunity to progress quickly in this role and play a key role in Policy Management, Cyber Security, IT Management and IT Strategy.

Role:


• Provide a high standard of technical support


• Perform root cause analysis relating to hardware and application issues


• Support and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, within the IT's inventory.


• Resolve support requests and escalate when necessary.


• Take ownership of issues from start through to a successful resolution


• Complete desk moves


• Partner with external IT Support Vendor and Software Vendors


• Maintain and update documentation and inventories as required.


• Suggest improvements in order to pre-empt the occurrence of incidents


• Document technical issues and solutions for future requirements.


• Assist in the evaluation, purchasing and installation of IT hardware and software.


• Provide basic training to end-users when necessary.


• Identify potential changes and system improvements.


• To perform any further duties as may be required by the company from time to time.

Key Skills and Experience:


• 1+ years of experience in an IT support role


• Knowledge/experience supporting MS Windows


• Gsuite Stake


• An interest in IT leadership


• Any IT industry standard qualifications

Salary

€34,000 – 42,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
