Procurement Specialist Job Overview
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing stock at the point of use in a team-based environment.
They will utilize scanning systems to requisition stock and maintain strict replenishment schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work in Point of Use as assigned by your Supervisor or Line Manager, scanning and/or replenishing stock.
* Work in Goods Inwards as required, unloading deliveries and distributing cages.
* Use Barcode scanning system to reserve stock.
* Maintain inventory storage systems.
* Participate in regular point of use audits.
* Utilize ICT Procurement Systems (Punch-out and SAP systems) for efficient service delivery.
* Assist the Line Manager in their duties and perform other tasks assigned.
* Implement new systems as directed by the Line Manager and cooperate with new technology and practices.
* Extensive use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Meet deadlines and maintain service levels.
Requirements:
* SAP experience is highly desirable.
