FMCG Business Developer

We are now seeking a passionate Business Development Executive to help expand our reach and drive growth in the retail channel.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Business Development Executive. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this field-based role is designed to drive sales in the retail channel. You will visit a range of clients, from major retailers to independent stores, to showcase the value of our unique products.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about innovation, eager to contribute to a growing business, and driven to succeed in a competitive environment.

Job Role & Responsibilities

* Maximise sales to existing accounts by nurturing relationships with retailers in multiples and independents.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic markets, focusing on emerging consumer trends.
* Conduct extensive travel to meet with retail buyers, distributors, and partners to present and promote our offerings.
* Promote products using a mix of traditional and digital methods to ensure effective market penetration.
* Provide market feedback and customer insights to internal teams to help evolve product offerings.
* Collaborate with customer service, production, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
* Take ownership of your role, with full accountability for achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Skills & Experience Required

* Minimum 5 years sales experience in FMCG or a related industry.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
* A self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Willingness to travel extensively across Ireland.
* Experience in both digital marketing tools and traditional sales techniques.
* Full, clean driver's licence.
* Fluent in English (oral and written).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to €55,000.00 per year
