Engineering Manager Location: Limerick (Hybrid) Salary: Competitive, depending on experience A leading global medical technology organisation is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering strategy, capability development, and new product introduction within a high-performance OEM manufacturing environment. This role will suit someone with deep engineering expertise, strong people leadership skills, and a track record of driving process excellence, innovation, and operational improvement in a regulated industry. Responsibilities Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring high technical standards and strong execution Plan, research and contribute to long-term capability development, partnerships, and strategic initiatives Drive product development, technology innovation, and core capability ownership Improve manufacturing processes, systems, equipment and operational performance Lead new product development and scale-up activities in collaboration with customers and internal value streams Drive cost-reduction programmes, productivity improvements, and site-wide engineering initiatives Oversee quality documentation, compliance, and engineering standards (ISO 13485, FDA, GMP) Represent the business in customer and supplier engagements Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, quality, and EHS requirements Lead engineering project delivery, reviews, change control, training, line support and continuous improvement Requirements Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline Minimum 10 years' engineering experience across multiple roles, ideally within medical devices or regulated manufacturing Strong planning, organisation, and project management skills Experience with structured problem solving, statistical analysis, Lean principles and NPI processes Knowledge of design controls, process validation, FMEA, engineering protocols and technical report writing Strong understanding of cost management, finance basics, and operational metrics Proven people leadership skills, with ability to mentor senior engineers and manage cross-functional teams Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Strong understanding of machine safety, ergonomics, electrical safety and chemical safety Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
