Our client, a large civils contractor, is looking for an experienced Site Manager with civils experience to join their team on a project in Cork City.
Overview
As a key member of the project development team you will be leading in the development of an exciting project.
Here, we are continuing to grow and develop projects with long-term, stable, career development opportunities for experienced Site Managers in a variety of locations upon completion of this project.
Duties and responsibilities
Supervision of sites, employees, sub-contractors and suppliers.
Management and delivery of the project programme and procurement needs in conjunction with the procurement and QS team.
Ensuring the project is delivered as per the agreed scope.
Maintenance of accurate documentation on site including full management of the H&S file.
Ensuring that all H&S measures are in place to safely deliver any project and maintain the highest standards of H&S management.
Managing the communication of the project through the necessary channels.
Overall responsibility for managing quality on site and delivering the highest possible standards of quality for all projects.
Requirements
3 years+ experience as a Site Manager on civils projects.
Keen eye for detail to ensure the projects achieve the required quality.
The ability to ensure the successful delivery of projects including programme management and procurement delivery, all while keeping a firm eye on quality.
Health and safety must always be paramount.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Self-motivated, ambitious and dedicated.
Analytical and decision-making skills.
Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and industry-specific software.
