We are working exclusively with a global firm to source a dynamic and highly experienced SVP ETF Client Services/ Basket Services to join their expanding ETF platform. In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of ETF basket operations, including portfolio composition files (PCFs), custom basket processing, and coordination with authorized participants (APs), custodians, and internal teams.
This is a senior-level role ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and understands the complexity of ETF trading, creation/redemption processes, and basket generation across asset classes.
The role
Oversee daily production and quality control of ETF baskets, including standard and custom baskets
Manage relationships with APs, market makers, custodians, and index providers to ensure seamless processing and communication
Coordinate with portfolio managers, traders, operations, and capital markets to support fund activity and liquidity
Develop and maintain robust controls around basket file creation, dissemination, and reconciliation
Collaborate on new ETF launches, product design, and market entry with a focus on operational readiness
Drive automation and scalability initiatives across basket processes and systems
Stay abreast of market structure developments, regulatory changes, and technology innovations relevant to ETFs
Mentor and develop junior team members and provide leadership across cross‑functional projects
The candidate
Ideally a qualified accountant or finance/accounting graduate with 15+ years of ETF operations
Strong working knowledge of ETF structure, creation/redemption mechanics, NAV calculation, and PCF workflows
Familiarity with equity and fixed income instruments, especially in‑kind vs. cash baskets
Experience with ETF technology platforms
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills; attention to detail is a must
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and solutions‑oriented mindset
Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational workflows and communicate with senior stakeholders
