This role enables the engineering delivery teams to accomplish tasks such as infrastructure provisioning and build, bundle, test and deploy, in a self-service model, for both development and production environments. As a member of the engineering delivery team, DevOps team members strive to decrease time to market, time to revenue, increase feedback loop velocities, teach teams about quality, completeness and readiness.ResponsibilitiesUse context driven technology solutions that enable deliver teams to predictably and repeatably deliver with confidenceEnable and maintain a self-service infrastructure provisioning and build, bundle, test and deploy for production and developmentFoster a collaborative and inclusive environment within the engineering delivery team to increase productivity, site/platform reliability of operations, quality, scalability and security through small batch updates, automation, monitoring, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (Continuous Flow)Members of the DevOps group are familiar with Software programming, how to write and build software Network architecture, how to build and manage software defined networksInfrastructure architecture, how to build and manage software defined infrastructure System Administration (networks, hardware, software systems)Information Security aware, sensitive and savvy Shell Scripting Databases, data structures, moving data RESTful APIsCloud (AWS)Configuration and Change Management, for traceability, audits, etc. (Chef, Bitbucket, Jira)Continuous Integration and Delivery (Jenkins)Test automation and test automation toolsMonitoring applications and infrastructureLog managementQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Systems, Electrical, Software Engineering, or other technical field. A graduate degree a plus1-3 years' experience in any or several of the following areas:Software programmingShell scriptingNetwork architectureInfrastructure architectureSystem administrationInformation securityConstantly interested in decreasing time to market, increasing quality, and looking for new/better ways to do thingsAdditional knowledge or depth of experience in the following areas a plus:Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environmentExperience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructurePrior success in automating a real-world production environmentExperience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across all environmentsUnderstanding and experience with code deployment (tagging)Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environmentsFamiliarity with AWSStrong scripting skills, i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewallingFamiliarity with any monitoring tools like Nagios, Incinga, SiteScope, etc.Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce)Management of continuous integration servers like Jenkins, Bamboo and TeamCityExperience with automated testing tools (ie.
