Your new role as a VAT Specialist will provide an exciting opportunity to join a well-established multinational with a small-team feel and global reach.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the tax team on VAT matters and ensure full compliance with all applicable VAT filings.
* Prioritize VAT compliance for global locations, focusing on the EU and Spain.
* Prepare VAT returns and reconciliations, including Intrastat reporting and other indirect tax filings.
* Maintain VAT controls and ensure timely submission of claims to minimize cashflow impact.
* Assist with e-invoicing procedures and VAT tax audits, managing queries and information requests.
Requirements
* Fully qualified or part-qualified in a relevant accounting field, such as CTA, ACCA, or ACA.
* Proven experience with global and EU VAT compliance, ideally in industry but also in practice.
* Strong Excel skills are required.
* A European passport is desirable due to occasional travel, but not essential.
* Competitive salary of €55,000 plus benefits, including discretionary bonus, pension, life assurance, healthcare, wellness allowance, 23 days annual leave, and birthday off.
