Overview
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join a team focused on testing third-party applications—including games, web, consumer, and professional apps—on new Mac hardware platforms. This role involves both manual and automated testing, with a strong emphasis on Audio/Video workflows and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
* Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans across various Mac hardware.
* Perform functional, compatibility, regression, and exploratory testing.
* Conduct thorough application testing, including Audio/Video workflows.
* Validate fixes and verify bug resolutions through manual verification.
* Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to drive quality improvements.
* Execute assigned test cases as per specification and schedule.
* Report issues with detailed reproduction steps and logs.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with the team.

Key Skills
* macOS Expertise: Strong familiarity with Mac hardware and software.
* QA Methodologies: Solid understanding of test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
* Manual & Automated Testing: Experience with both approaches.
* Test Case Development: Ability to write reusable and detailed test cases.
* Hardware Testing: Skilled in testing across multiple Mac configurations.
* Communication: Clear reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
* Experience testing on gaming platforms and applications.

Location
Cork, Ireland. Work arrangement: 5 days onsite - Monday to Friday. This role is a 12-month rolling contract.
