We are seeking a
QC Instrumentation Engineer
to join a leading biopharma client on a
12-month contract
. This role offers the opportunity to work in a
world-class pharmaceutical organisation
producing
cutting-edge medicines
.
You will support the
purchase, qualification, calibration and lifecycle management of QC laboratory instrumentation
, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead instrument purchase, qualification, calibration, and lifecycle management.
* Oversee calibration schedules, maintenance, and investigations.
* Review and approve qualification protocols and related documentation.
* Collaborate with QC, QA, and validation teams to deliver new equipment projects.
* Drive compliance with data integrity and regulatory standards (21 CFR 11/EU Annex 11).
* Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* BSc in a scientific discipline (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a GMP laboratory, with instrument qualification expertise.
* Strong understanding of biopharma analytical platforms (e.g. HPLC/UPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, Biacore).
* Knowledge of data integrity and regulatory compliance.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
