Electrostatic Simulation Software Developer Opportunity

Our client, a leading multinational semiconductor software company, is seeking an electrostatic simulation software developer to join their team based in Cork City, Ireland. The successful candidate will be working on the development of a brand-new electrostatic simulation software within the scope of Parasitic Capacitance and Resistance Analysis and Visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and troubleshoot new code and implement new features from scratch.
* Work collaboratively with other software engineers and product engineers to ensure product robustness and quality.
* Implement and extend user interface using Qt framework.
* Organize live interaction between different software products.

Requirements:

* Hold a degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
* Have 7+ years of programming skills in modern C++ (C++14/17), STL, BOOST, Pthreads, etc.
* Familiarity with Qt framework and object-oriented programming methods.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

* Experience with Squish Framework.
* Familiarity with Unix-like operating systems.
* Experience with Python.
* Experience with Perforce.
