We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic finance team.

The Role As an Accounts Assistant, you will take ownership of the accounts receivable process while providing essential cross-functional support to the wider finance and administrative teams.
You will be the point of contact for customer queries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every transaction.
Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable: Manage the full invoicing cycle, record and allocate payments, and reconcile customer accounts to resolve discrepancies.
Reporting: Facilitate weekly debtor reporting for the Financial Controller.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless payment collection and data accuracy.
Accounts Payable Support: Provide cover for the AP function, including invoice processing, RCT payments, and creditor reconciliations.
Office Operations: Handle basic office duties (filing, data entry) and provide phone support to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accounting Technician (or equivalent) with a "can-do" attitude and a commitment to excellence.
Experience: 13 years in an Accounts Receivable or similar accounting role.
Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Sage and the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional telephone manner.
Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for accuracy and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
