Job Title: Caretaker
We are recruiting for a Caretaker to join our team at the Cork Courthouse facility.
Your responsibilities
* Carry out daily inspections of facilities.
* Manage key holding duties, including opening and closing facilities.
* Move and re-arrange furniture as needed.
* Set up areas for exhibitions and special events.
* Attend to alarms, such as fire and emergency alarms.
* Perform minor works and maintenance tasks.
* Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance.
* Maintain general building fabric.
* Oversee external grounds upkeep.
* Assist with porterage and general duties, including moving and delivering items.
* Liaise with the helpdesk and perform reactive tasks.
* Supervise and accompany site subcontractors.
* Monitor waste management processes.
* Administer First Aid and CPR when necessary.
* Work in accordance with BAM Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.

* Good time management skills.
* Basic DIY repair and problem-solving skills.
* Safe Pass certification.
* Vetting required.
* Awareness of health and safety regulations and procedures.
* Ability to work effectively with people across various levels and responsibilities.
