Product Development Technician II
As a Product Development Technician II, you will play a key role in designing and developing complex medical devices and component technologies. Your expertise in mechanical devices and ability to work with engineers will ensure efficient and effective production processes.
* Design delivery systems for client companies using technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical devices.
* Assemble, test, and package complex mechanical devices following written and verbal instructions with attention to detail and quality control.
* Work with engineers to design and develop assembly methods, promoting collaboration and driving quality and efficiency within the team.
* Maintain accurate records of activities and results, documenting all work and outcomes.
* Train assemblers, technicians, and engineers in assembly methods, enhancing skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
* Manage inventory effectively, tracking materials and supplies to maintain smooth operations.
* Assist with in-process testing to ensure products meet specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality and efficiency.
Key qualifications for this role include:
* A technical diploma is advantageous for career advancement.
* Braiding and lamination experience is desirable for proficiency in complex device assembly.
* Balloon Catheter development or manufacturing experience is desirable for specialized skills and knowledge.
