Job Opportunity: Commercial Finance Manager.
About the Role:
This position entails overseeing and comprehending all costs, risks, and benefits associated with selling through Distributors.
* Consolidation of Distributor sales reports into a Global report
* Analysis of Distributor data and information to verify costs are valid
* Development of a thorough understanding of Distributor contracts and their practical implications
* Maintenance of Master Data Costings files and creation of new Cost of Goods as required by the business
* Control and management of Distributor price changes suggested by Trading Controllers
* Design and implementation of a Product P&L template for each Market to develop new product pricing and establish a consistent process for evaluating new opportunities
* Rebates: deductions from Gross to Net Revenue
* All rebates/trade promotion/distributor bonus/WAP/miscellaneous deductions under full control of the Commercial Accountant
* Monitoring and reconciliation of trade terms to rebate control workbook, with investigation and reconciliation of discrepancies without delay in conjunction with Trading Controller/Trading Managers.
