Responsibilities
The FP&A Accountant will be responsible for:
* Reporting - assisting with preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
* Designing, developing and maintaining dashboards in Power BI to monitor performance.
* Providing insightful analysis on KPIs to key stakeholders.
* Compiling detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
* Performing various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
* Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
* Budget & Forecasting - participating in the budgeting and forecasting processes, dealing with budget stakeholders, analysing data, providing insights and making recommendations.
* Supporting Business Transformation projects, including the implementation of a new ERP system, by assisting with testing and rollout.
* Liaising with external parties, including the Group Auditor, on a variety of reporting requirements and submissions.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a:
* Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with a hands-on commercial attitude and a keen attention to detail.
* Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in financial planning and analysis or a related role.
* Ability to adapt and problem solve quickly in a changing and dynamic environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and accounting software.
* Experienced ERP user.
* A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
