Job Description
Our client, an influential credit fund based in South Dublin has a newly created opening for a Head of Finance. Reporting directly to the CEO, this represents an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in the business.
As an earlier stage business, the Head of Finance will take full ownership of the company's financial management. Responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
Core:
* Overseeing monthly financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.
* Managing cash flow and treasury operations to support business needs.
* Driving performance analysis and supporting strategic decisions.
* Ensuring compliance with tax, audit, and reporting obligations.
* Leading and developing the finance function, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration with key stakeholders.
Desirable:
* Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with company goals.
* Building relationships with investors and lenders.
* Supporting fundraising initiatives with the executive team.
Requirements for this Role
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 5 years' PQE.
* Experience in the Financial Services sector (e.g. bank, asset manager, servicer with loans/credit experience).
* Strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at board level.
