An exciting opportunity for aLead Plannerto take ownership of scheduling and cost control across all phases of multiple projects valued between€2–35 million. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and analyzing both actual and forecasted schedules, costs, and risks. You will monitor performance, report progress, and manage deviations to keep projects on track. The position ensures that all projects adhere to established methodologies and execution practices in line with internal standards, while overseeing theintegrated schedule and cost-control performance measurement processfor the full project scope.ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with the project team to analyze requirements, ensuring all essential activities are identified in sufficient detail to support the development of accurate and achievable project schedules.Monitors project progress and conducts regular critical path analyses to keep key activities and milestones on track; promptly communicates deviations or scheduling concerns to Project Managers and recommends resource optimization strategies.Prepares and delivers progress reports, schedule updates, and productivity metrics on a routine basis and in response to customer and stakeholder requests.Establishes a baseline cost-performance plan, working closely with the team to define required resources and validate the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for effective project execution.Partners with engineering, supply chain, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, clients, and contractors to identify potential scope changes and assess their impact on schedule and cost in a timely manner.Aligns material resource requirements with the project schedule by defining procurement activities and lead times; regularly coordinates with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to ensure procurement actions meet schedule targets.Participates in project reviews, compiles reports, and maintains accurate project data in Project Control systems to support management reporting and decision-making.Communicates project status, control issues, and risks clearly to the project management team and recommends practical solutions.Provides timely and transparent communication to customers and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of project objectives, progress, and outcomes.RequirementsOver 5 years of proven experience as a Planner in the EPC sector or related industries.Extensive background in project planning and scheduling, with strong command of advanced scheduling methodologies and tools.Solid hands-on operational experience gained as a key member of project delivery teams.Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.Proficient in Oracle Primavera P6 for planning, scheduling, and project control.Self-driven and proactive, with a strong focus on delivering results.Flexible and open to travel in support of project requirements.
