Accounts Payable Specialist Working Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote) Hours: 40 hours per week.
(flexible on what way you work them Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will support our existing AP team while driving improvements and taking responsibility for critical aspects of the AP function.
Responsibilities Operational & Investigative Responsibilities Conduct detailed investigative work on the existing AP ledger.
Identify, resolve, and close out legacy issues to support a clean and efficient AP environment.
Manage and complete monthly supplier reconciliations with accuracy and confidence.
Support & Collaboration Provide cover and support to the existing AP team during periods of annual leave.
Partner with Procurement to ensure end-to-end process alignment across purchasing and payables.
Support the Financial Controller in managing Group online finance portals impacted by AP activities.
Process Improvement & Compliance Work closely with the Financial Control team to design, refine, and implement robust AP policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with Group requirements and audit standards.
Take full responsibility for the AP month-end close process.
Oversee VAT verification on payables, ensuring accuracy of invoices and values.
Key Requirements This role is ideal for someone with several years of accounts payable experience who is ready to step into a more senior, autonomous, and impactful position.
