Junior Lighting Designer
We are currently seeking a Junior Lighting Designer to collaborate with our Sales Team in delivering exceptional lighting designs. The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of commercial lighting, experience in technical support and customer communication, as well as project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborating with the Sales Team to develop and deliver lighting design projects.
* Reviewing and interpreting CAD files to create designs that meet specification requirements.
* Delivering designs as requested by the Sales Team within agreed timelines.
* Project Management, taking ownership of allocated lighting design projects.
* Supporting the Sales team in the tendering process.
* Providing technical support as needed.
Requirements:
1. 1-3 years of experience in lighting design using Relux or Dialux.
2. Technical background (e.g. Engineering/Design) preferred.
3. Experience working with CAD files to create suitable lighting designs.
4. Good working knowledge of lighting-related standards, schemes and calculations.
5. Excellent customer service skills.
6. Ability to handle large volumes of data and manage multiple projects concurrently.
7. Persistent and diligent with a focus on attention to detail.
8. Assertive and dynamic with a willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
9. Clear written and verbal communication skills.
10. Understanding of building services.
11. Proven track record in office and industrial lighting design.
12. Knowledge of BIM is an advantage.
13. Computer Aided Design Software proficiency (AUTOCAD, etc.).
