Overview: Specializes in our branch customer experience through digital engagement, lobby management, transactional processing, and retail servicing interactions. Processes a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to established customer service standards and provide a differentiated experience by understanding customer needs and delivering solutions in moments that matter most.
2. Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations; identify self-service opportunities that meet their needs.
3. Engage actively in lobby management, greeting customers and proactively addressing their immediate needs.
4. Accurately balance and process customer transactions efficiently following bank policies.
5. Take ownership of escalated account service issues until resolved; log all customer complaints accurately.
6. Transition sales opportunities and introduce customers to appropriate banking partners.
7. Perform branch operational activities (e.g., cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfers).
8. Process customer and account maintenance accurately.
9. Complete AML/BSA/KYC activities as required.
10. Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls per company and regulatory standards.
11. Maintain internal control standards and address audit or regulator issues promptly.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Scope of Responsibilities: Provide exceptional service, resolve routine problems, and demonstrate empathy, customer centricity, digital fluency, and critical thinking. Collaborate across departments to resolve operational issues and stay current on changes to reduce risks and prevent losses.
Managerial/Supervisory Responsibilities: Not applicable.
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or GED, with at least 6 months customer service experience involving data entry or cash handling.
* Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Organized with good time management and prioritization skills.
* Proficient with internet and basic technology.
Preferred: Bilingual skills based on branch needs.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand long periods, use hands extensively, lift objects up to 30 lbs, read fine print, and interact face-to-face with customers.
The pay range is $19.00 - $28.34 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
