Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Support Worker based in Tipperary. The Support Worker will assist individuals in participating in community-based activities, fostering independence, and enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include providing direct support, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment, and helping individuals navigate daily tasks and interactions within their community. The role emphasizes person-centered care, safeguarding, and effective communication with individuals and their families.
Qualification requirements would be a minimum L5 in social care, healthcare or related field
* Experience desired in residential Social care, including working with young people with autism and disabilities
* Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for effective interactions with clients, families, and colleagues
* Knowledge of Safeguarding practices and commitment to ensuring client safety
* Compassionate, patient, and dedicated approach to caregiving
* Flexibility to work combination of shift latterbs such as sleepovers, day shifts and live nights if required to suit the needs of the service
