Product Development Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Product Development Specialist to drive the creation and maintenance of accurate product specifications and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all products.
* Ensure seamless data transfer and synchronization between core systems, such as ERP and MES.
* Manage the implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and update product data across all relevant systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize products for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
* Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in product development, preferably as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP expertise is a plus) and MES systems (Spectrum Pro expertise is a plus).
* Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
This role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 4-6 years of related experience is typical. The duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment and require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or detailed data. Repetitive manual movements are frequently required. Occasional travel may be necessary.
