We are now welcoming applicants for the role of Head of Financial Planning Analysis to join the Finance Team at our Head Office in Mullingar, Co.
Westmeath.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of FP A will be primarily responsible for transitioning our finance function from traditional accounting to a value-added, forward-looking strategic partner.
You will design, build and lead the FP A function, establishing the frameworks for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and commercial modelling that will drive our next phase of growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Weekly variance analysis on sales, margin and costs.
Lead and manage delivery of monthly 'Reporting Packs'.
Develop week / month/ year rolling P L and cashflow forecasts for the group.
Create, lead and mentor a high-performing team of analysts.
Provide and present deep dive analysis on a range of ad hoc topics and projects.
Own and deliver all business case preparation.
Lead financial appraisal of all major CAPEX projects.
Deliver "the story behind the numbers" to the C D SLT, highlighting risk and opportunities.
PERSONAL COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with substantial post qualification experience in financial control.
Expert level financial modeling and business case preparation.
Proven leadership and team development experience.
Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to take large volumes of data and distill into one page 'exec summaries'.
Strong systems experience and understanding with desire to improve improved reporting processes across the group.
Experience in manufacturing is a benefit.
