Accounts and Payroll Technician
Location: Donegal Town - Hybrid Working Available
Hours: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 (based on experience)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Accounts & Payroll Technician to join our team. This role is ideally suited to someone with strong experience in accounts and payroll, combined with advanced Excel skills, who is comfortable working with data, reporting, and financial processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing reports, reconciliations, and data analysis using advanced Excel skills (including data manipulation, formulas, PivotTables, and reporting tools)
Cross-checking and reconciling multiple reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Supporting end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
Managing accounts payable and receivable functions
Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting processes
Identifying efficiencies and supporting improvements in financial and payroll workflows
Key Requirements
Proven experience inaccounts and payroll
Advanced Excel skills (e.g. PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis)
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to manage sensitive financial information confidentially
Organised, proactive, and able to meet deadlines
Desirable
Accounting Technician qualification or similar
Experience with payroll/accounting software
Previous experience in a fast-paced or multi-site business
