Operating across the retail and hospitality sectors, we pride ourselves on our informal work culture, strong teamwork, and commitment to responsible, environmentally focused cleaning practices.Job ResponsibilitiesBudgeting, Forecasting and Financial PlanningLead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles across all functions.Consolidate departmental inputs, validate assumptions and ensure alignment with strategic and operational priorities.Build and maintain budgetary and financial models to support the above and develop scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and long-term planning.Monitor budget adherence and provide monthly variance analysis with clear explanations and actions.Margin & Profitability AnalysisAnalyse gross margin performance by country, customer and by site.Working with payroll function, track labour efficiency, pay rates, and pricing impacts to identify profitability drivers.Produce monthly margin bridge reporting and explain key movements to operations and commercial.Support contract renewals and tenders with profitability modelling and “what-if” scenarios.Margin Improvement & Performance InitiativesIdentify opportunities for margin improvement, cost optimisation, and productivity gains, especially in overhead expenditure.Partner with operations to monitor KPIs such as labour utilisation, overtime, equipment costs, and site spend.Support continuous improvement projects, including automation, standardisation, and process redesign.Track and report benefits from margin improvement initiatives.Reporting, Insight Delivery & SystemsPrepare monthly management reporting packs with clear commentary and actionable insights. Support the CFO and senior leadership with analysis for strategic reviews, board packs, and business cases. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and strong financial controls across all FP&A outputs. Maintain robust FP&A models and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Business Central master data0 Drive automation and process improvements within FP&A workflows, support other Finance functions to automate and process improve where possible. Support system enhancements related to finance reporting structures.Experiences, Competencies & Qualifications Needed to Succeed on this RoleExperienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in an FP&A, finance analyst or management accounting role. Strong financial modelling skills (advanced Excel essential; Power BI desirable). Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Deep understanding of cost structures, margin drivers, and profitability levers. Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence non‑finance stakeholders. Exceptional analytical capability with attention to accuracy and detail. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely. Proactive, commercially minded, and solution‑oriented. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.QualificationsDegree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
