Client is a leading UK FTSE 250 merchant banking group providing lending, deposit taking, financial advice, investment management and securities trading, employing circa 3,000 people, principally in the UK and Ireland.
This Management Accountant role is in the Motor Finance division, located in Dublin, and will work closely with the local management team and key stakeholders from across the Motor business, as well as the Bank’s wider finance team.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and Head of Finance, the role will be responsible for the production of the management accounts, and internal reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of revenue postings and coordination of P&L postings
Reconcile bank accounts daily and own resolution process
Support balance sheet substantiation process
Responsible for cashflow management, including daily funding, drawing from Treasury, cash management of customer collections and sweeping to structured finance deals
Own bi-monthly VAT returns and support annual VAT RTD returns and form 46G returns
Draft investor reports relating to the entity's securitisation programme and creation of data tapes
Responding to investor & other stakeholders queries relating to securitisation
Ownership of monthly accruals postings & maintaining relevant schedules
