Director of Rooms
in Co. Clare.
This is a senior leadership opportunity within one of Ireland's leading hotels, where the successful candidate will oversee the strategic and operational management of the Rooms Division. The role will be pivotal in ensuring excellence across Front Office, Accommodation, and Engineering/Maintenance, while upholding the highest standards of guest service.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of Front Office, Accommodation, and Engineering/Maintenance departments.
* Drive continuous improvement to meet and exceed Forbes 5-Star service standards.
* Lead, mentor, and develop departmental leadership teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
* Manage departmental budgets, P&L performance, CAPEX planning, and cost control.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to optimise occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
* Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and systems to maintain operational excellence.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
* 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in the Rooms Division of a luxury hotel, with at least 1–3 years at Director level or above.
* Proven leadership of Front Office, Accommodation, and Engineering/Maintenance within a high-end hospitality environment.
* Strong working knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide audit standards, with direct experience in achieving and maintaining Forbes 5-Star service levels.
* Deep expertise in P&L management, CAPEX planning, and expense control aligned with occupancy and operational performance.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
