As a Senior Product Designer for our AI agents team, you will take a systems-oriented approach to define the vision for creating a best-in-class AI automation platform. You will focus on unlocking the full potential of Agentic AI for our customers, making configuration and optimization simple yet impactful, while collaborating closely with other designers to ensure an optimal end-to-end experience. Your role will be critical to the success and adoption of the AI agents product mission and help solidify Zendesk as a leading AI-powered customer service automation platform. You will collaborate with teams in Poland, Germany and Portugal and distributed teams across AMER, EMEA & APAC.
What You Will Get To Do
* Live and breathe AI, self-service, and adoption, focusing on making a product easily adopted and effectively configured for a diverse set of customers.
* Partner with product and engineering teams to research and develop new AI automation and bot capabilities for customers.
* Work across cross-functional teams with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists from concept to execution with attention to the design process.
* Design interaction models, flows, wireframes, and hi-fidelity mockups that promote ease of use and optimize how customers interact with our products, while aligning with the larger product vision.
* Present design solutions to partners and senior executives, defend design decisions, and incorporate feedback into the design cycle.
What you bring to the role
* 5+ years of professional experience in designing consumer or business SaaS applications (enterprise experience is a plus).
* Experience designing for a product-led growth mindset to optimize adoption.
* Prior experience designing generative AI-powered product experiences and AI-enhanced workflows.
* Ability to operate in a technical environment and visualize the impact of technical decisions on the global user experience.
* Proactive self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and capable of rapidly prototyping design concepts at all fidelity levels.
* Strong design process, collaboration mindset, and ability to educate product teams on how to work with designers.
* A solid design portfolio showing your work, your role on projects, and examples of end-to-end functional designs.
