Basic Grade Medical Scientist - Full time Permanent Contract

We have a vacancy for a qualified Basic Grade Medical Scientist to join our friendly, supportive laboratory team and contribute to the development and expansion of our service and hospital.

Our medium-sized multidisciplinary laboratory provides the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge and facilitates career progression.
The laboratory encompasses Biochemistry, Microbiology, Point of Care, Coagulation, and ISO *****:**** accredited Haematology, Blood Transfusion specialities.
Candidate Requirements:
CORU-registered Medical Scientist
Eligible for membership of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine.
Experience of ISO essential) and JCI hospital accreditation (desirable)
Previous experience in a Hospital laboratory setting is preferable - laboratory experience in a non-clinical setting will also be considered.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility and the ability to work in a demanding fast environment.
Enthusiasm, adaptability and a willingness to co-operate.
Team player who is also able to work on their own inititaive.
