We are currently recruiting for Group Therapy Manager in Bartra Healthcare based in Beaumont Lodge Transitional Care Unit, Coolock, Dublin 5.
The Therapy Manager will oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department in Bartra Transitional Care Facilities. The post holder will ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapy services to all patients. This role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and administrative management to optimise patient outcomes, maintain regulatory compliance, and support interdisciplinary collaboration. The Therapy Manager serves as a liaison between clinical staff, facility leadership and external partners.
Contract: Full Time- Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
* Team & Clinical Leadership
* Supervise, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team of therapists and therapy assistants.
* Foster effective communication and collaboration among disciplines.
* Participate in or oversee patient evaluation, treatment planning, and care conferences to ensure a holistic, person-centred approach.
* Serve as a clinical resource for complex cases and interdisciplinary treatment planning.
Operational Administrative Management:
* Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and caseload assignments across therapy disciplines to meet the needs and productivity goals.
* Oversee therapy documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
* Ensure adherence to all regulations and compliance requirements.
* Manage department budget, supplies, and equipment inventory.
* Collaborate with administrative teams to support accurate records.
Quality, Compliance & Performance:
* Track and analyse departmental performance metrics, including outcomes, satisfaction, productivity, and compliance.
* Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives across therapy disciplines.
* Lead preparation for audits, survey and accreditation processes.
* Ensure consistent use of evidence-based practices and promote clinical excellence across all therapy services.·
Staff Development & Culture:
* Lead regular interdisciplinary staff meetings and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
* Identify staff training needs and coordinate continuing education opportunities.
* Support recruitment, orientation and retention of qualified therapy professionals.
* Promote a culture of respect, communication, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
* Registered with CORU
* Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in applicable field
* Minimum of 3 – 5 years of rehabilitation experience.
* Post-graduate qualification in management, leadership, healthcare service improvement or related area (or equivalent experience) may be preferred.
