Technical Support Engineer - Equipment Breakdown Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate day-to-day operations of the service department.
* Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
* Manage customer equipment breakdowns, particularly with Fanuc and Piovan machinery.
* Liaise with key partners to source support, parts, and schematics.
* Maintain and upload Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) to customer portals.
* Manage calibration instruments and service documentation.
* Update machinery records in the software management system.
* Collaborate on service schedules and contribute to operational planning.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with plastics machinery, especially Fanuc and Piovan.
* Previous experience in a maintenance or service-focused role.
* Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
