Pine Grove Day Centre for people with dementia is looking for people to participate in their Memory Walks on Sunday mornings.
* Cheer Squad Captain: greet and encourage walkers with high-fives and upbeat cheers
* Hydration Hero: hand out water and keep everyone refreshed
* Wayfinder Wizard: guide participants along the route and prevent detours
* Safety & First-Aid: spot trip hazards, report issues, and direct anyone in need to medical help
* Route Reporter: relay updates to coordinators
* Memory Champion: wear your high-vis vest and Memory Walk tee, share quick facts about our cause, and boost morale
The aim of Pine Grove Day Centre is to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for individuals with dementia. The centre focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients through meaningful activities, social interaction, and person-centered care. It also offers respite and support to families and caregivers while promoting independence and well-being for clients in a comfortable and familiar setting.
