HR Manager Manufacturing Sector Monaghan VANRATH is partnering with a leading manufacturer located in Monaghan, seeking to appoint a HR Manager on a full-time permanent basis.
The HR Manager will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions within the company including recruitment and selection, managing employee relations, performance management, training and ensuring compliance with current employment law.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Managing the entire recruitment process, from job postings and candidate screening to interviews and onboarding new employees.
Employee Relations: Handling employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters.
Employee Engagement: Responsible for collaborating with the Marketing Manager on issuing employee newsletters on a quarterly basis and organising employee wellbeing events, to foster a positive working environment for all staff.
Employee Wellbeing: Promotion of Employee Assistance Programme to all staff, ensuring employees are aware of health and wellbeing resources available and organising wellbeing events in line with Health and Wellbeing calendar of events.
Advising Management: Providing expert advice to the management team on HR-related matters and ensuring the terms of the Company Handbook are effectively implemented.
Training and Development: Identifying training needs, developing training programs, and delivering training to employees.
Time and Attendance: Review of hours for payroll administration.
HR Policy Development and Implementation: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and legal requirements.
Performance Management: Overseeing performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback.
The Ideal Candidate: A relevant degree or professional qualification in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years experience working in a generalist HR role, with experience of advising managers on a range of HR related matters.
Ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders to reach practical solutions Excellent organizational and time management skills Competence in Microsoft Office packages and previous experience using HR systems is advantageous.
