The Manufacturing Engineer II is directly involved in the achievement of our mission to contribute to human welfare by manufacturing products that alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.

A Day in The Life Of: Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Actively support daily production activities including: Troubleshooting issues relating to equipment, process & materials.
Yield monitoring, loss mitigation, Gemba & MPS activities.
Actively support Quality investigations (customer complaints, in process test failures etc.).
Equipment, Tooling & fixturing development and maintenance.
Lead and participates in continuous Process Improvement projects using problem solving methodologies (DMAIC, 5 Why, 6M etc).
Document Updates (EB documents, DHR, Op, VS, etc) - collaborate and release on Agile.
Support the installation of new equipment through troubleshooting, issue resolution and validation activities.
Key Skills & Experience Minimum Level 8 Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering or other related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience required ideally within MedTech industry.
A dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams, with strong attention to detail.
Experience of SAP/Agile is required.
Experience using Solidworks & Mainsaver.
Data Analysis Experience - Minitab, Excel and Power BI experience an advantage.
Ability to demonstrate Medtronic Mindsets in their work and good presentation skills are desirable.
We are looking for a good communicator and fluency in English, both in writing and speaking.
Experience in performing people management tasks is desirable.
