This role is that of Mortgage Advisor within a busy financial institution working with clients to finance the purchase of properties and switching of existing mortgages. Working within a team of advisors and in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will be a strong people person, a team player and able to manage a portfolio of clients. Must be able to gain new clients through proactive sourcing.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join a busy financial institution, helping clients finance property purchases and manage existing mortgages. The successful candidate will work with a team of advisors in a fast-paced environment and should be a strong communicator and self-mstarter with the ability to manage a client portfolio.
Responsibilities
 * Advising new clients on mortgage options available to them.
 * Managing mortgage processes, including preparation, processing and management of mortgage applications with relevant providers, ensuring accurate data entry uploaded to internal/external systems.
 * Tracking the new business pipeline to ensure efficient turnaround of proposals.
 * Liaising with clients and lenders throughout the mortgage completion process.
 * Ensuring client files are complete and compliant with policies and procedures before filing.
 * Handling administration queries on a day-to-day basis regarding client applications and keeping the manager updated on relevant matters and potential sales opportunities.
 * Providing full administration support in all aspects of new business and for existing client reviews.
 * Maintaining and managing the CRM system and the new business pipeline to ensure it is fully up to date at all times.
 * Other duties and responsibilities as required to grow the business.
 * General Office Administration.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
 * Strong client focus is essential
 * Excellent communication skills
 * Excellent attention to detail
 * Good technical knowledge of mortgages
 * Professional approach
 * Proficiency in MS Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel
 * Appropriate Industry Qualification QFA or APA loans
 * Highly self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
 * Excellent organisational skills
 * Excellent networker with proven ability to prospect and close own leads
 * Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering requirements and compliance procedures (advantageous)
 * Previous experience in working in a Financial Institution (advantageous)
Salary/Benefits
Salary: €45-50,000
