The unit currently comprises 2 intensive care cots, 1 high dependency cot and 8 special care cots and is augmented by a well developed community liaison service and 3 Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.Comprehensive support and in service training is provided from experienced neonatal nurses, alongside access to mandatory hospital based professional development programmes.Applications are invited from qualified staff nurses/midwives (RGN/RM/RSCN) who have a particular interest in developing skills and expertise in neonatal care.
