Opalus Healthcare is currently recruiting for
Consultants in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
for locum and standalone positions across hospitals in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Obstetrics and Gynaecology care, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and gynaecological services.
Manage both elective and emergency obstetric and gynaecological presentations in line with hospital guidelines.
Perform and supervise obstetric and gynaecological procedures in theatre and delivery suite as required.
Participate in on-call duties for Obstetrics and Gynaecology services.
Support the education and training of junior medical staff, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, while maintaining ongoing CPD and compliance with professional standards.
Requirements
Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) in the Specialist Division in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (or eligible for registration).
Experience working in Ireland or the UK.
Eligibility to work in Ireland (Irish/EU/UK passport or Stamp 4 residency).
