In this role, you will lead the planning and delivery of risk-based internal audit reviews across a variety of fund administration, operations, and support functions. You will provide independent insight, contribute to continuous improvement, and help enhance the organisation's control framework as it grows.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a portfolio of internal audit engagements across operational, financial, and regulatory areas within the fund services environment.Conduct risk assessments to determine key audit priorities and identify opportunities for process enhancement.Develop, scope, and deliver audit plans in line with professional standards and internal methodologies.Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, recommending practical improvements to strengthen compliance and operational performance.Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings to senior management and governance forums.Mentor and support junior auditors, fostering professional development and technical growth.Work with business leaders to ensure timely remediation and implementation of audit recommendations.Contribute to the continuous development of the audit function, including methodology, reporting, and data-driven audit capabilities.Stay up to date on regulatory developments and industry trends relevant to fund services, compliance, and risk management.About You:Professionally qualified Big 4 accountant with Funds experience.Minimum 3+ years' experience in internal audit or external audit.Strong understanding of risk assessment, internal controls, and assurance practices.Remuneration:A strong base salary, bonus, pension, and healthcare will be offered to the successful candidate.If this role is of interest to you, please feel free to reach out to me at If you know of any friends or colleagues who might suit this role and would like to refer them, you will receive a €250 voucher should we successfully place them.
