Duties and responsibilities
* Assist in all administrative duties as required, especially dealing effectively with the Financial Controller's incoming and outgoing correspondence.
* Process and reconcile sales and purchase invoices
* Monitor debtor days and assist with debt collection
* Generate sales invoices and purchase orders
* Processing and allocations of bank receipts and payments
* Manage accounts payable and receivable
* Process and filing VAT returns. VAT reconciliations
* Assist with payroll processing
* Contribute to the smooth running of the office
* Prepare ad hoc financial and administrative reports
* Various other administrative tasks
Experience, skills and competencies
* 3+ years of experience in accounts administration
* Strong reconciliation skills across multiple accounts
* Experience with Payroll is a distinct advantage
* High proficiency in MS Word and Excel
* Very high attention to detail and very strong organisational skills
* A collaborative person who communicates in a clear and positive way
