Job Title: Health Assistant
* Location Cavan, surrounding areas to be confirmed after interview for HSE clients.
* Job Type:* Full-time/Part time
We're seeking a compassionate and organised Health care Assistants to join our healthcare team. As a Health care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals and service users.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with patient care tasks such as bathing, dressing.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
* Assist with daily day to day tasks, heating and serving meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families and health care team members.
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
* Light Housekeeping such as laundry, cleaning and tiding to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
* Assist with mobility issues, such as transferring, walking or using mobility aids.
* Requirements:
* Relevant healthcare qualification - QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or Care of the older person and care skills or working toward
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Familiarity with medical software and electronic health records
