Qualified/Part-Qualified Practice Accountant


Job Summary:

We are seeking a Qualified Accountant to join our team as a Practice Accountant. The ideal candidate will have experience in small to medium-sized practices, excellent communication skills, and be proficient in accounting software such as Relate/SURF Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Completion of statutory audit work for small and medium companies (approximately 50% of the time)
* Preparation of unaudited annual accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients
* Corporate and personal taxation work, including compliance and advisory services
* Mentoring and developing junior members of staff to ensure their growth and success within the practice
* Maintaining and developing strong relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying new business opportunities

About You:

* You hold a recognized accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA
* You have previous experience working in a small to medium-sized practice environment
* You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Awareness of accounting software such as Relate/SURF Accounts is highly advantageous
