We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with expertise in automation frameworks and hands-on experience in Salesforce platforms (Service Cloud or Sales Cloud) to join our client's dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Planning: Define test strategies for new features, focusing on functional and non-functional testing to ensure optimal outcomes. Automation Framework Development: Build, maintain, and document robust test automation frameworks leveraging Cucumber, Serenity, Rest Assured, and Selenium. Test Case Automation: Develop and automate highly effective test cases to streamline test cycles and accelerate delivery timelines. Coverage Assurance: Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both new and existing features, integrating with all required systems and services. Collaboration: Work closely with Software Engineers to ensure testability of new features and with Product Owners to validate business requirements. Agile Practices: Operate within a Scrum framework, promoting testing best practices and continuous process improvement. Tool & Methodology Research: Stay current with emerging test tools and trends to enhance the teams capabilities. Key Skills & Experience Technical Expertise: Strong programming background in Java (3+ years). Experience building and maintaining BDD automation frameworks for API and UI validation. Proficient in testing tools and frameworks such as Serenity, Cucumber, Rest Assured, and Selenium. Demonstrated experience in database testing with MS SQL Server or similar. Skilled in CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and test-driven development practices. Familiarity with Salesforce platforms, specifically Service Cloud and Sales Cloud. Methodologies & Practices: Proven ability to create robust automated integration, functional, and regression tests. Agile tester mindset with expertise in defining test approaches to optimize automation ROI. Experience working with version control systems like Git and build tools such as Jenkins and Maven. Additional Knowledge: Networking protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, SOAP, REST, etc.). Authentication standards (OAuth, SAML). Knowledge of build and release management best practices. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar test automation role. Bachelor's degree (honours) in a related discipline. Experience in financial services is a plus.
