Job Role: Underwriting Support Professional
The primary objective of this role is to provide support and assistance across various business lines, focusing on consumer and commercial sectors. This involves delivering prompt and accurate services to new and existing customers through phone, email, and post communications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Investigate and resolve customer queries at the initial point of contact in a timely and efficient manner.
* Analyze and prepare renewals for issuance by reviewing relevant data and conducting routine tasks.
* Compile data and support underwriters with various tasks and reports as required.
* Liaise with claims and finance departments to resolve customer inquiries and discrepancies.
* Produce ad hoc reports to facilitate decision-making and performance evaluation.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess 1+ year's experience working in the insurance industry, hold a recognized MCC qualification, have strong knowledge of MS Office applications, and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
