About the Role

* Key Responsibilities
* Design & Development: Lead and support the design of renewable energy systems, collaborating with internal and external teams to develop tailored solutions.
* Project Management: Manage full project lifecycles—from planning through to commissioning—ensuring delivery on time.
* Technical Expertise: Offer hands-on electrical and mechanical engineering support throughout project phases, troubleshooting as needed.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project activities meet required environmental, health, and safety standards and engineering best practices.
* Documentation & Reporting: Produce and manage accurate technical documentation, specifications, and project status reports.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to integrate renewable solutions into new developments.
* Innovation & Improvement: Keep informed of emerging technologies and trends in the renewable energy sector, suggesting improvements and efficiencies.
Requirements
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).
* Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in renewable energy projects or sustainability-focused engineering roles.
* Technical Proficiency: Competency in CAD software, renewable energy modelling tools, and project management systems.
* Certifications: Additional qualifications in renewable energy systems or project management (e.g. PMP) are desirable.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of conveying technical detail to varied audiences.
* Problem Solving: Analytical thinker with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
* Teamwork: A collaborative approach with the ability to work across departments and drive project momentum.
